Check-out and meet & assist our local Coach Captain and our guide and proceed to Sightseeing of Split with the old city core that has developed within and around spacious Diocletian's Palace (part of UNESCO' world heritage), the most famous and best-preserved monument of Antiquity in Croatia. A walk through the small picturesque streets paved with stone to the Cathedral of St Domnius, originally the mausoleum of Diocletian. We continue with the visit to the well-preserved Diocletian's Cellars and finish the tour on the beautiful waterfront, the symbol of this Mediterranean city, full of charming cafés. Post lunch we proceed to Medjugorje (142 Kms – 2 Hrs) - a small village in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Our Lady has appeared in Medjugorje every day since June 24, 1981. The Blessed Mother reportedly tells us that God has sent her to our world and, these years she is spending with us are a time of Grace granted by God. In her own words she tells us, “I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is the fullness of life, and to enjoy this fullness and peace, you must return to God.”Our Lady continues to give messages to six young people, now adults: Ivan, Jakov, Marija, Mirjana, Vicka, and Ivanka. Beginning on March 1, 1984, Our Lady began giving Weekly Messages to St. James parish in Medjugorje and to the world. Then, on January 25, 1987, Our Lady began giving these Messages on the 25th of each Month. After 21 years, Our Lady still appears to 3 of the visionaries daily (Marija, Vicka, and Ivan). This morning, after breakfast, Visit St James Church. We visit the Community of Cenacolo & also visit the Oasis of Peace. Later, we make the climb to MT. PODBRDO (Hill of the Apparitions), where Our Lady first appeared. We see MT. KRIZEVAC (Cross Mountain). The balance of the afternoon is free for our private meditations. In the evening we’ll take part in the evening Rosary with pilgrims from all over the world. Dinner is at our Hotel.
Today after breakfast, check out and proceed towards to Zagreb is the largest and the capital city of Croatia. It is in the northwest of the country, along the Sava river. upon arrival city tour of Zagreb to Gothic Cathedral, St. Catherine's Church The church is designed in the Baroque architecture of the 16th century. After Breakfast we proceed to Wadowice House to Saint Pope John Paul II. St. Pope John Paul's house the church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary located next to the Popes house (the Basilica),the UNESCO listed world heritage site of the Kalwaria Zebrzydowska Sanctuary and a place of pilgrimage for many Catholics. We proceed to Auschwitz (35 Kms – 45 Min) Auschwitz, the Nazi Concentration Camp. We will view an audio visual presentation and tour the grounds, with a special prayer at the cell of the martyred St. Maximilian Kolbe, who voluntarily surrendered his life so that another prisoner might live. We drive by Birkenau, site of the martyrdom of St. Edith Stein. We proceed back to Krakow check-in and overnight at hotel.
After Breakfast. We visit Wawel Castle from outside and The Cathedral, The Church of St. Mary, Church of Our Lady Assumed into Heaven (also known as St. Mary's Church; is a Brick Gothic On every hour, a trumpet signal - called the Hejnal mariacki - is played from the top of the taller of St. Mary's two towers. The plaintive tune breaks off in mid-stream, to commemorate the famous 13th century trumpeter, who was shot in the throat while sounding the alarm before the Mongol attack on the city. The noon-time hejnal is heard across Poland and abroad broadcast live by the Polish national Radio 1 Station. Afternoon we visit Shrine of the Divine Mercy The Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Krakow, Poland is a Roman Catholic basilica dedicated to the Divine Mercy devotion, as the resting place of Saint Faustina Kowalska, canonized on April 30, 2000. In March 1981, while praying at the tomb of St. Faustina at the church, Maureen Digan of Massachusetts reported a healing. Digan had suffered from lymphedema for decades, and had undergone 10 operations, including a leg amputation. Digan reported that while praying at Faustina's tomb she heard a voice saying "ask for my help and I will help you" and her constant pain stopped. Later visit to Salt mine of Wielizka located in the town of Wieliczka in southern Poland, lies within the Krakow metropolitan area. The mine, built in the 13th century, produced table salt continuously until 2007, as one of the world's oldest salt mines still in operation.The mine's attractions include dozens of statues, three chapels and an entire cathedral that has been carved out of the rock salt by the miners. The oldest sculptures are augmented by the new carvings by contemporary artists, the mine is one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments, back to hotel stay overnight.
After Breakfast Departure to Czestochowa. Jasna Gora Sanctuary It is the holiest place of Poland and one of the world's most important destinations for pilgrims. The Jasna Gora (Bright Mount in Polish) sanctuary in Czestochowa. Every year several million pilgrims - commoners as well as celebrities - come here to pray before the miraculous picture of Our Lady of Czestochowa. The faithful has believed for ages that St. Luke the Evangelist himself painted the divine icon on a tabletop from the Holy Family's house. Anyway, over the last half-millennium great number of them have had their prayers heard and, grateful, left innumerable votive offerings displayed in the sanctuary. Chapel with Miraculous Painting of the Black Madonna, Basilica, Bell Tower, A bell tower is a tower that contains one or more bells, or that is designed to hold bells, even if it has none. In the European tradition, such a tower most commonly serves as part of a church and contains church bells. Modern bell towers often contain carillons. The bell is rung to signify the time, to call people to worship, for special events such as weddings and funerals, or historically to sound a civil defense or fire alarm. After Breakfast we transfer to Bratislava for city tour of Bratislava and proceed to see Historic center of Vienna. The historic centre of Vienna is rich in beautiful architecture, including Baroque castles and gardens, as well as the late-19th-century Ringstrasse lined with grand buildings, monuments and parks. Peterskirche is a Baroque Roman Catholic parish church in Vienna, Austria. The new church was the first domed structure in baroque Vienna. Due to the confinement of available space, it was built in a very compact form, with its oval interior housing an astonishing amount of space and rectangular attachments.
